One of the best sci-fi movies....evar!

Ah! I have such sweet memories of this crazy flick. It was one of the last movies that I saw at the drive-in with my parents. Good times. Good times. 'The Night has a 1000 Eyes' was blaring out of the grey speaker and John Wayne was next with 'Big Jake'. So
now it's been years and The WPFS presents 'The Green Slime'
in all its gooey wonder. It still has the best rockingest bitcheness
theme song of all time.

Bloody soap opera musical

Oh Boy!' Night of the Bloody Transplant' is one of those films
that just has to be seen. It's incredible. It's one-of-a-kind. It's
a mess, but a dark and seedy mess, that becomes a jaw-dropping
unintentional comedy of horrors. A doctor screws up a heart transplant because of his nutty brother-in-law. Just why is this
neighborhood doctor performing a heart transplant any way?
Huh! Oh! Well, anyways.....there's dancing..jukebox music..
slow pan-outs to nowhere...and an actual live footage of a real
heart transplant to make you bark and squeal. Oh Yeah,
there's an article about us in this weeks Georgetowner newspaper:

Euthanasia is the comedy of the Elderly

Hey gang! We've got another forgotten great film from the 80's.
It's one of Katherine Hepburns final films...'Grace Quigley'.Believe it or not but this is a comedy about euthanasia. Kate plays an elderly woman who doesn't want to die in an old folks home. She witnesses
a killing by a hitman and decides on going out via a hit. She enlists several of her other elderly friends to go out with a bang but the hitman, doesn't agree. The hitman is played by Nick Nolte.
This movie has 2 endings and I don't want to spoil it by talking about it. Just see it.

The Psycho's

With all that's been going on, I forgot to send out the call-for-entries
for our Psycho Awards. Usually, we host them in the Summer, but
there isn't enough time. All the schools are out and most of the good stuff comes from fresh minds. So, I guess we'll have to set Fall/Winter date for them. Check here for more details.
